Wild Fable Faux Patent Leather Moto Jacket

Wild Fable Faux Patent Leather Moto Jacket

Red Leather Jacket // Gingham Dress //  Bootie // Sunglasses // Earrings

Yesterday I had more fun at SMU than my entire three year stint in law school! Okay, maybe that’s not that hard to do, but seriously it was a blast!  We kicked it off by watching the Homecoming Parade.  The floats included sororities and fraternities throwing out lots of candy while chanting their names, but we also saw the mayor of University Park and lots of faculty members having a great time in cool vintage cars.   We met up with some of Espen’s classmates and they jumped in bounce houses and ran around like lunatics.

After the parade, we headed over to the law school.  The Dedman School of Law hosts a tailgate twice a year, and each time it’s a really nice event.  I run into friends I went to law school with and new friends I’ve met while practicing law post law school.  They have free adult and kid beverages and yummy food.  They also have balloon artists and face painters, and the kids usually don’t ever want to leave!  The best part is that we can walk there from our house during this gorgeous time of year.

So here’s the thing.  I don’t drink beer usually.  And I certainly don’t prefer beer in a can.  But considering what I paid for law school, I’ve now dedicated myself to drinking as much free beer, eating as much free food, and bringing as many guests as they will allow until the end of time!  Maybe by the time I’m eighty, I’ll have broken even…

But on a serious note, I was crushing hard on this Faux Patent Leather Red Jacket!  I love it so much.  I scored it at Target a few months ago, and I couldn’t wait for the scorching Texas heat to subside so I could let it grace my shoulders!  I usually wear an XS or S in Target clothes, but I sized all the way up to a large in this because I wanted a super comfy fit that wasn’t restrictive on my arms.  I can also wear a chunky sweater underneath in the colder months and will still be comfy.  The material is smooth and silky and it doesn’t leave you with that gross clammy feeling some faux leather things do.  Best part? IT IS $35!!!! You have to snag this immediately by clicking on the links just below my pics and let me know how you like it!

And if you ever go to the SMU tailgate, let me know!  I’ll have to get you a guest pass to the law school section. 😉

XOXO

Elisha
