Makeup Remover Wipes: Amazon
Howdy! So I wasn’t going to have a beauty category on my blog because, frankly, most people I know have TONS more knowledge than I do about makeup. But then my mom sent me this unbelievable deal on the makeup wipes I already use daily, and I knew I had to share the goodies. Then it came to me. “Beauty” isn’t just about makeup. Don’t worry, I’m not getting super philosophical here. I just mean that the category of “beauty” is all things that go towards achieving YOUR “beautiful.” And, sure! I’m into that! So that would include my favorite lotions, favorite hair products, bubble bath, etc. I mean, I DO shampoo my hair, right? So if I find a great deal on a great product, of course I want to share it with you. Therein lies my exact motivation for writing this blog! So, without further delay, here is my first beauty PSA!
I don’t wear a ton of makeup, but I often have a pickle of a time getting my eyeliner and mascara off. Nothing more attractive than waking up the next morning and looking like you’re doing the walk of shame. Sometimes I will wash my face and apparently didn’t wash it well enough because when I use these miracle makeup wipes, they come out having snagged whatever leftovers were on my face. And when I think about stewing in that all night or worse yet–putting moisturizer on at night and trapping it in??? Ick. There are tons of makeup remover wipes out there, but these are far superior to any other brands I’ve tried. They stay moist longer (sorry to those who hate that word) and they simply do a better job of removing makeup.
So here is the good stuff. One pack of 25 costs $4.99 at Target. Just to be sure I knew this price was consistent, I checked the prices of other stores. They’re currently $4.97 at Walmart, and $4.99 at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I found this pack of 6 (150 wipes) for $19.78 and it ships and arrives free in one day with Amazon Prime. Even if you bought six packages of the cheapest option above from Walmart, you’d spend $29.82. So it’s a ten dollar savings on something you were going to buy anyway AND you have a nice little stash in your arsenal for guest bathrooms, too! In the end it’s considerable savings of 1/3 of what you would have paid, and it’s with barely any effort. Somebody smart once coined a phrase you’ve probably heard a few times and it’s just spot on. “You could pay more, but why?” Preach.
Enjoy!
XOXO
