The sale OF THE YEAR was postponed slightly due to COVID 19, but it’s FINALLY HERE! This year the sale looks a little different. First, everybody gets to preview the ENTIRE sale starting July 24. Before there was just a “lookbook” that gave you a sneak peak, but this year you can begin planning far in advance!
Like every year, you may begin shopping in tiers, based on your cardmember “status.” Here is the timeline for Cardmembers:
Everyone else gets to start August 18! But beware, the really good stuff gets sold out QUICKLY and may or may not be restocked, so adding my picks to your wish list ASAP is a great way to ensure you get all the goodies your heart desires. Know your “shop date” and throw them into your shopping cart and check out the moment you are eligible.
Background About the Nordy’s Sale and Getting Your Mind Right
This once-yearly annual sale is the motherland and is unique in that prices for upcoming seasons are slashed way down during the sale then return to regular price once the sale is over. A successful shopper transitions his or her mind into fall season, and focuses on future needs and staples. So… get your mind right!
How to Come out on Top
- Apply for a Nordstrom Card if you don’t have one to be able to shop first.
- Add items to your wishlist and update it often. Set your alarm and plan to shop as soon as your status permits.
- Popular items sell out quickly, so purchase both sizes if unsure. Return the unneeded item ASAP so other shoppers can do the same!
- If you think you like it, DO IT! You can always return. You’ll regret the ones you didn’t catch. Believe me. Nobody likes Nordy’s Anny Sale FOMO!
- Trust your bloggers! We will try out all we can and do tons of research for you. Many items are tried and true and sell out every year but we KNOW the quality is king. Don’t reinvent the wheel. Tap into our work!

Then August 7, I will put on my running shoes and book my sitter and make my in-person trek to the motherland to start trying on things in person! I’ll take pics of my faves so you can see how they look on a real person, and alter your wish list accordingly.
