Dress : Chicwish // Shoes : Nordstrom // Earrings : The Design Hound // Bag : Similar Here // Sunglasses : Amazon
Something I didn’t really consider when I was contemplating starting a blog was that I was going to need to model the clothes. !!! I know that sounds crazy that I was so clueless, but I really just wanted to share my finds with friends and others interested, but I realize I can’t fairly evaluate products without showing you how I look in them and explaining fit and sizing. So. Yeah. I am NOT a model. I feel really awkward trying to pull off a cute, calculated, yet comfortable pose. Sigh. Anyway, here is my first attempt to be “fashion-y”! Don’t laugh! Or, you can. Just laugh WITH me. 😉 But hopefully I’ll get better. In these photos, I became aquatinted with a few chins I didn’t know I had. Nice to meetchya! ALL of ya!
The Dress:
Despite all that, I really like this dress! I discovered this company through other fashion bloggers (oh look, I said “other” eek), and I’m loving the company! The shipping was’t lickety split like so many other places I shop, but they gave me plenty of tracking info once I ordered it. The clothing runs more on the “designer-sizing” side, as I’m wearing a medium here.
The Earrings:
These adorable magenta earrings are super lightweight. I purchased them on a Facebook shop called Design Hound. They offer free shipping on all orders, and I love free shipping! I have them (shockingly) in both white and magenta.
The Shoes:
If you’ve been following my blog at all, you aren’t surprised to see me sporting this year’s “It” wedge. You can click on the link above to check them out, or you can head to my blog post entirely dedicated to their fabulousness here.
The Sunglasses:
Aren’t these sunnies fun? I went through a VERY short phase of buying expensive designer sunglasses. They were fab. But I broke them, lost them, scratched them, and I couldn’t get over how much money I had wasted. So now I am the queen of cheap, adorable sunglasses that won’t leave me devastated if they insist on breaking themselves. I found these crazy ones on Amazon, and we all know I love my free shipping. They actually feel like really decent quality for the insanely low price that they are.
The Bag:
I got this Kate Spade tote several years ago, but since it’s patent leather it still looks brand new! I can’t find it online anymore, but there are lots of pretty pink bags to choose from out there in a variety of price ranges. Check out the slider below to figure out which one works for you!
Happy Shopping!
XOXO
